Prelitigation Services
When you reached the decision to contact an attorney to assist in the collection of your account, your first thought was most likely that it is time to file suit. Although you’re probably right, a demand letter from your attorney before suit is filed may be effective to start the debtor on a payment plan and save you thousands of dollars in attorney's fees. While our office gathers the necessary information needed to file suit, a demand letter on your attorney’s letterhead shows your customer you will no longer tolerate their delay tactics and that you will do whatever it takes to collect your account.
Prejudgment Remedies
Where appropriate, we will recommend prejudgment remedies. These include prejudgment writs of attachment, to secure the debtor’s assets before your case proceeds to trial, and prejudgment writs of possession to secure assets in the debtor’s possession which you hold title to or which you have a security interest in.
